POUGHKEEPSIE, N.Y. - The Vassar College Field Hockey team is ranked on the Penn Monto/NFHCA Division III National Coaches Poll after Tuesday's rankings release. The Brewers are listed as also receiving votes with a 11-4 overall record and 5-2 in Liberty League play
The Brewers are led by leading scorers junior
Hailey Brigger (San Diego, CA) and sophomore
Gianna Trunfio (Clinton, NY) who each have eight goals on the season. Sophomore
Leilani Llamas (Grapevine, TX) has added five goals, including four game-winners, while Brigger leads the team in assists with four.

Heidi Compton (Clark, NJ) has two defensive saves on the year in the back end of the defense as junior goalkeeper
Sarah Dumaresq (Barnstable, MA) has posted a 1.03 goals against average and has made 32 saves while posting four shutouts on the season.
Vassar will host Scranton on Wednesday night at 7:00 p.m. in non-conference action before closing the regular season with New Paltz on Saturday night at 6:00 p.m. at Weinberg Field.
The Brewers will play host to Skidmore in the First Round of the Liberty League Championship on Tuesday, November 1st. The contest with the Thoroughbreds is scheduled for 6:00 p.m. at Weinberg Field.
