POUGHKEEPSIE, N.Y. - In continuation of the College's Phase II re-opening, Vassar Athletics will now offer open tennis and basketball to the campus community beginning Wednesday, September 16th. Reservations will be required to access the courts for all students, faculty and staff. Those reservations, which must be made 24 hours in advance, can be done by clicking
HERE. Please note, that open tennis and basketball will all take place at
Josslyn Outdoor Courts.
Below you will find instructions on how to login and reserve space for open tennis and basketball.

2. Click on the orange tab "School User Member Registration"
3. Login with the Vassar OneLogin with your Vassar credentials
4. When you get to the homepage. Click the Open Tennis/Basketball Reservation Tab in the top left corner
5. On the next page you will see a calendar. Click on "Week" and use the Scroll feature to see the Open Tennis/Basketball Times
6. Each Open Tennis/Basketball Session will be marked if its for Faculty/Staff Only or Student Only
7. Click on the available Open Tennis/Basketball time you want and start the registration process
8. On the next page click the sign up button and after you click it, you have the option to select if you want a session reminder.Â
9. On the next page click the select the $0 package and once you that you will be registered for the session you requested.

Open Tennis
Policies and Procedures:
- The person who signs up is allowed to bring 3 guest that are Vassar Community members and are permitted to be on campus. Please bring your Vassar ID. If you don't have your ID, you will not be permitted to play
- If the person who signed up is not able to make it, please send your confirmation to your guest.Â
- When signing up you have to sign up as a student group or a employee group (Faculty/Staff)
- Must bring own equipment (Tennis Ball and Raquets)
- Masks are required until you get to your court. Masks can come off when you begin to play
- All participants are REQUIRED to wear appropriate, non-marking shoes to preserve the court surface. Those not wearing appropriate shoes will be asked to leave.
- At the end of the scheduled time, put masks back on and proceed to leave the court.
- Must Maintain 6 feet of social distancing at all timesÂ
- Duration is 50 minutes per session
