Last Time Out: The Brewers extended their four-game winning streak by picking up two wins this past weekend against Loras College and Alvernia University. The Brewers are won both matches in straight sets. In the last match, the Brewers posted their season-best 46 kills against Alvernia and hope to carry this momentum into the match against Springfield.
A Look at The Brewers (5-2, 0-0 UVC):
- The Brewers have begun their season offensively aggressive, earning 318 kills on the season and an average hitting percentage of .291. The Vassar Men's Volleyball team is averaging 12.23 kills per second, second in their conference.
- Matt Knigge, the returning AVCA All-American, leads the team in terminations earning 83 so far this season, averaging 3.61 kills per set. Following behind him is Sophomore Returner, Kevin Ros with 58 total kills and an average of 2.52 kills per set.

- Springfield Men's Volleyball Team are nationally-ranked No. 1 in Division III Volleyball. After dropping their first match of the season, the Pride has gone on a six-match winning streak.

- Offensively, Paul Curaro and Will Flohr lead the team in kills. Curaro with 50 total kills, hitting .209 and Flohr with 48 kills, hitting .296.
- Defensively, Junior Danny McNamara has been extending points from the back of the court, leading the team with 50 digs and averaging 3.85 digs/set.
- Middle Blocker Kyle Biggers leads the team with 9 total blocks, followed by Outside Hitter Will Flohr who has earned 8 total blocks on the season.
