Last Time Out:  After taking two games from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute Saturday, the Brewers dropped Sunday's contests, splitting the series with RPI on the weekend. RPI's strong pitching and solid defense held the Brewers to just one run over the 16 innings played Sunday.

A Look at the Brewers (13-14, 6-7 Liberty League):

• The Brewers manager, Matthew Righter, will be coaching against his former team Wednesday afternoon.
• Vassar's infield is turning the ball well, forcing two double-plays Sunday against RPI.
• Freshman Matt Martino has been an offense spark for the Brewers this season, hitting .394 over 66 at-bats. Just under .400, this is the 5th best batting average in the league.
• Martino's slugging percentage (.561) is also a notable 7th best in the conference.
• The Brewers may seem like ball-magnets, with four players on the top ten in hit by pitches in the Liberty League. Smach, Shanagher, Kinne, and Hernandez total 30 free bags to date.
