Grant Maryott and sophomore
Dash Edwards have all been honored for their standout performances both on the court and in the classroom.
In order to be eligible, a undergraduate student-athlete must have
at least a 3.50 cumulative grade point average or a graduate student-athlete must have at least a 3.50 cumulative grade point average (on a 4.0 scale) as both an undergraduate and a grad student unless they are in their first semester as a graduate student and don't have an established graduate GPA. Also, student-athletes must compete in 90 percent of the institution's games played
OR must start in at least 66 percent of the institution's games. For pitchers, a student-athlete must have made at least 17 appearances
OR pitched 35 innings.
Lee earns his first Academic All-District selection to add to a season that saw him earn his first All-Liberty League Third Team selection along with a D3baseball.com Third Team All-Region III nod. Lee concluded his Vassar career following a strong senior campaign where he fired 46.1 innings and pitched to a career-best 3.69 earned run average. Lee also recorded career-bests in batting average against (.243), hits allowed (42), runs (30), earned runs (19), walks (14) and strikeouts (52). Lee fired his first career complete game against Bard on April 4 while striking out a career-high 10 hitters in his final start against RIT on May 1 and closed the 2026 campaign with the fourth-highest strikeout total in a single season with 52. Lee finishes his Vassar career ranked third all-time in strikeouts with 145, sixth all-time in ERA at 4.90 and tied for third all-time in batting average against at .271.
Maryott collects his first career CSC Academic All-District recognition after tossing a career-high 39 innings this season and struck out 29 hitters. Maryott earned his fifth career win following a strong start against Albertus Magnus on March 9, where he went seven innings, allowing just three hits and two runs along with striking out a season-high seven batters.
Edwards also earns his first career All-District honor as the sophomore posted a career-best .299 batting average and tallied career-highs in slugging percentage and on-base percentage. Edwards knocked in 14 runs, scored 27 times and totaled 26 hits, including eight doubles and one triple. Edwards tallied a 3-for-3 game with three RBI and two runs scored against Bard on April 3 and added seven multi-hit games. He also notched seven games with a run batted in.
Vassar concluded the season with a 13-20 overall record, including 7-7 against Liberty League foes, and advanced to the Liberty League Crossover Series for the fourth straight season.
