Troy, NY - The Liberty League announced its All-Liberty League selections in Baseball on Tuesday afternoon as the Vassar College Baseball team saw three student-athletes earned All-Conference recognition. Senior outfielder
Jensen Bergman scored All-Liberty League First Team honors, junior left hander
Will Darrell was selected to the Second Team and senior right hander
Addison Lee garnered Third Team honors.
Bergman, who was named a Third Team selection a season ago, has put together one of the best careers in Vassar program history as he closed his senior season with a career-high .404 batting average, reached base in all 33 games this season and also set the program single season record for triples (8), slugging percentage (.670), on-base percentage (.547) and walks (30). Earlier this season, Bergman also broke the record for triples in a career and holds the record with 18 over his four-year Brewer career. Bergman also made history as the first Brewer to hit for the cycle as he went 5-for-5 in the victory on March 29 and earned the program's first ever D3baseball.com Team of the Week honor. The senior finishes his illustrious career as the program's leader in triples while finishing the top-10 all-time in runs (third), hits (sixth), home runs (seventh), RBI (fifth), total bases (fifth), batting average (seventh), slugging percentage (third), OBP (second) and walks (fifth).
Darrell earns his first All-League citation after throwing a career-high 50 innings in 2026, registering a career-best 3.24 ERA and also struck out a career-best 49 hitters. Darrell led the team in wins with five this season and will enter his senior season ranked fourth all-time with 12, trailing the Adam Erkis and Chris Beattie who each had 15 career wins on the mound. Against Lesley on March 14, Darrell fired five hitless innings and struck out a career-high 12 hitters to earn his first win of the season. Darrell's ERA of 3.24 ranks ninth-best in a single season and finished the season with the sixth-highest strikeouts in a single season with 49. Darrell also finished the 2026 campaign with a .228 batting average against, which is the sixth-best in a single season. The junior will enter his final season with the Brewers holding the lowest batting average against at .225 currently along with sitting eighth all-time in strikeouts with 130 for his career.Â
Lee closes out his Vassar career with his first All-Conference nod following an impressive return from injury as the senior fired 46.1 innings and pitched to a career-best 3.69 earned run average. Lee also recorded career-bests in batting average against (.243), hits allowed (42), runs (30), earned runs (19), walks (14) and strikeouts (52). Lee fired his first career complete game against Bard on April 4 while striking out a career-high 10 hitters in his final start against RIT on May 1 and closed the 2026 campaign with the fourth-highest strikeout total in a single season with 52. Lee finishes his Vassar career ranked third all-time in strikeouts with 145, sixth all-time in ERA at 4.90 and tied for third all-time in batting average against at .271.
Vassar concluded the season with a 13-20 overall record, including 7-7 against Liberty League foes, and advanced to the Liberty League Crossover Series for the fourth straight season.
