Previously undefeated in the Skyline Conference, the team's first loss came this past Saturday against Farmingdale State College. They will look to bounce back and return to an above .500 record.

Sophomore Katie Gattoni leads her team on offense with 56 goals and seven assists in 13 games. She is ranked 19th in the country and second in the Skylinein goals per game. Junior Nicole Scicutella leads the team in assists with 20 on top of her 26 goals in 14 games. Junior Claire Duffy leads the squad with ground balls with 55, and has a team-high 73 draw controls. Against Mount Saint Mary All-Time
Vassar is 2-0 all-time against Mount Saint Mary College. Tuesday will be the third consecutive year that they face off, after first meeting on March 24th, 2013. In both previous match-ups the Brewers won by a score of 19-7.

Defensive Prowess
Vassar remains ranked first in the Liberty League in caused turnovers per game (11.92) and ground balls per game (21.58). Senior defenders Jackie Palma (Manhasset, NY/Manhasset) and Evie Toland (Nyack, NY/Nyack) have been major contributors for the Brewers' in caused turnovers and ground balls, with Palma sitting at No.1 in caused turnovers (2.75) and No. 2 in ground balls (3.50) per game, and Toland ranks 10th in CTOs with an average of 1.33 per game.

Record Breaker
Palma has a shot at breaking the Vassar single season caused turnovers record in Tuesday's match-up. She currently has 33 on the year, after causing four turnovers Saturday. She is three CTOs away from Kaitlin Harvie's ('05) school record of 36 set back in 2004. Palma already broke the school record for all-time caused turnovers last weekend, now totaling 93 in her career in the burgundy and gray. Palma is currently tied for 11th in the country and first in the Liberty League in caused turnovers per game (2.75).

Offensive Unit
The Brewers have outscored their opponents this year, scoring 123 goals and letting in 110. They hold the No. 2 spot in the Liberty League in points per game (15.08) and assists per game (4.83), helped by junior Isabelle Goldstein (Belmont, MA/Belmont), ranked third in the league in assists (2.30) and fourth in points (3.80). The Brewers rely on a well-rounded scoring offense. There are currently five Brewers have at least 15 goals this season.

Class Wars
The Brewers have huge contributions from every class so far this season. While the senior class holds down the defense, the attack remains relatively young and inexperienced. The underclassmen are in a fierce battle of the classes to see who will come out on top on offense. The standout freshmen class of 2018 has a combined 29 goals so far this season. The sophomore class of 2017 leads the team with 40 goals this season. The three juniors in the class of 2016 have a combined 34 goals, while the senior class of 2015 has 16 goals.

Up Next
The Brewers will play its final two regular season Liberty League games of the season against St. Lawrence University at 4 pm on Friday April 24 and Clarkson University at 2 pm on Saturday April 25 for senior day. Vassar currently sits in the No. 3 spot in the Liberty League, and is primed to secure a bid to the conference tournament with wins this weekend.
