Northborough, MA – The Vassar College Women's Lacrosse team was recognized by the Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association on Wednesday with both team and individual academic awards. The Brewers were named an IWLCA Honor Squad for posting a team grade point average of at least 3.2 with 17 student-athletes named to the IWLCA Academic Honor Roll for achieving a grade point average of 3.5 or higher.
 
To land on the Academic Honor Roll, a student-athlete must be a junior, senior or graduate student and earn a cumulative GPA of 3.5 or higher. Four Liberty League institutions produced double-digit selections to the honor roll with Vassar leading the way with its 17.
 
Tess Billings (Deerfield, IL), a senior Biochemistry major and team captain, put together a career year in 2026. Billings was named Second Team All-Liberty League after leading the Brewers in goals with 45 and points with 52. Billings scored her 100^th career goal against Ithaca on April 4 and closed out a productive season with 31 draw controls, 23 groundballs and 13 caused turnovers.
 
Maddie Busam (Summit, NJ), a senior Psychological Science major, started all 15 games for the Brewers in goal in 2026. Busam made 108 saves for Vassar and worked to a .422 save percentage, ranking eighth in the conference in saves per game and ninth in total saves. Busam turned aside double-digit saves in a game six times, including a career-high 14 stops against Wheaton on March 12.
 
Emilia DiLiberto (Allison Park, PA), a junior International Studies major and team captain, continued a standout career for the Brewers in 2026. DiLiberto became the program's all-time leader in draw controls in the season opener and led the team in the category with 64. In 12 games played, DiLibero registered 22 points on the strength of 17 goals and five helpers and added 21 groundballs and 10 caused turnovers on the way to being named Third Team All-Liberty League.
 
Maeve Faigel (North Andover, MA), a junior Science, Technology and Society major, was limited to three games due to injury in 2026, totaling an assist and three groundballs for the Brewers.
 
Norah Flinn (Cranston, RI), a junior Political Science major, helped anchor Vassar's defensive unit in 2026 after appearing in 13 games. Flinn forced 10 turnovers for the Brewers and secured 14 groundballs.
 
Phoebe Florance (Oakland, CA), a senior Biochemistry major, missed the 2026 season due to injury. Over the course of her career, Florance appeared in 26 games and totaled seven points, five groundballs and a pair of draw controls.
 
Sigrid Fredlund (Seattle, WA), a junior Science, Technology and Society and Biology major, continued a steady career for the Brewers in 2026. Fredlund tied for fifth on the team in goals with 14 and closed the season with 20 points to go along with eight groundballs, four draw controls and a caused turnover.
 
Karina Gyllenhaal (Beverley, MA), a senior Political Science major, put together a career year for the Brewers in 2026. Gyllenhaal finished second on the team with a career-high 20 assists, closing the campaign with 26 points which ranked fourth on the team. Gyllenhaal rounded out the year with multiple assists in a game five times, including a season-high five against Bard on April 22.
 
Amanda Hahn (LaGrange, IL), a junior Computer Science and Mathematics major, stepped into a starting role for the first time on defense in 2026 and was one of just five players to start all 15 contests. Hahn totaled two points on the offensive end and closed the 2026 season with 11 caused turnovers and seven groundballs.
 
Emily Kallman (Jamestown, RI), a junior International Studies major, also put together a career year in 2026. Starting 14 games, Kallman led the Brewers with 20 caused turnovers as a junior and contributed 23 groundballs and 11 draw controls.
 
Catherine Peacock (Stockton, NJ), a senior Neuroscience and Behavior major, missed the 2026 season due to injury and served as a team captain. Peacock graduated ranked inside the top-10 all-time at Vassar in draw controls with 135 and was Vassar's 2026 winner of the Frances D. Fergusson Coaches Award.
 
Amelia Poirier (Atherton, CA), a junior Media Studies major, appeared in 11 games in 2026 and finished with 17 points on the strength of 13 goals and four assists. Poirier scored a pair of games winning goals for the Brewers and totaled seven groundballs, three caused turnovers and three draw controls.
 
Whitney Rowan (Bronxville, NY), a junior Psychological Science major, did not compete in 2026 due to injury and has appeared in eight contests to date for the Brewers.
 
Cassidy Schuchat (Hopewell Junction, NY), a junior Psychological Science/Cognitive Science major, appeared in a career-high 11 games in goal in 2026. Schuchat posted 23 saves for the Brewers and recorded a .411 save percentage, making a season-high six saves in the season opener against Drew.
 
Sloan Shade (Fort Lauderdale, FL), a senior Psychology major, missed the 2026 season due to injury. Over the course of her career, Shade appeared in 30 games and registered 19 groundballs, 14 caused turnovers and five draw controls.
 
Olivia Del Tatto (Bayville, NY), a junior Neuroscience and Behavior major, anchored the Brewers' backline in 2026 and was one of just five players to start all 15 games. Del Tatto finished as Vassar's team leader in groundballs with 30 and was second on the squad as a junior with 17 caused turnovers.
 
Siena Wong (Scotts Valley, CA), a junior Biochemistry and Japanese major, totaled 25 points for the Brewers in 2026. Wong finished third on the team with 11 assists and fifth on the team with 25 points after adding 14 goals. Wong rounded out the season with eight groundballs, five caused turnovers and five draw controls.
 
Vassar closed the 2026 season with a 7-8 overall record.
