Last Time Out
Vassar had a strong start against No. 18 Williams, taking a 6-4 lead deep into the first half. However, a 5-0 spurt by the Ephs from 51 seconds left in the second quarter to 11:23 in the third quarter propelled Williams to a 17-11 victory over the hosts. Andy Grabowski led the Ephs with five goals and an assist, as the team moved to 8-4 on the season. Four players led Vassar with two goals apiece, as the Brewers dropped to 6-7 on the season (1-4 Liberty League).

A Look at the Dutchmen (10-3, 3-1 Liberty League)
Union has had a solid season thus far, though they are coming into this game on a low note. The Dutchmen lost to No. 1 RIT 22-7 on Wednesday, who the Brewers also lost to 22-7 this past weekend.  Union also lost to Williams 16-10 on March 24, again similar to the Brewers, and put together a four-game win streak before being bounced by RIT on April 15.

Sophomore Peter Richardson currently leads the Dutchmen in points with 35 on the season on 17 goals and 18 assists. Senior Charlie Ross has been the team's primary finisher, scoring a team-best 31 goals; which ranks third in the Liberty League. Senior Connor Hall has taken the bulk of the faceoffs for Union, winning 163 of 276 for a 59.1% clip. In goal, senior Stefan Basile has started in every game but one for the Dutchmen, holding a .520 save percentage while allowing 10.30 goals per game.

Against Union All-Time
Vassar and Union have faced off every season for the past thirteen years, and each time the Dutchmen have outscored the Brewers. However, with both teams trying to come back from a loss, the Brewers have more than enough motivation to end Union's all-time series winning streak.

Breadwinners
During the match against Williams, junior Noah Parson (Cary, NC/Panther Creek) scored his 29th goal for the season, and sophomore Liam Moriarty (New Fairfield, CT/ New Fairfield) scored his 23rd goal for the season. With a combined total of 52 goals, Parsons and Moriarty have contributed to 36.6% of the team's scoring offense this season.

Season of Goals
Parson is now tied for third all-time for goals in a season at Vassar after scoring two against Williams. Parson now has 29 goals on the year tying him with Kevin Kreiser ('00) and Max Herman ('14) on the all-time season list.

Leading Men
Only seven teams have held lead on RIT this season, now ranked as the No. 1 team in the nation in the latest USILA Coaches Poll. Of those six teams, Vassar has held the second longest lead over the Tigers at 8:30 after the Brewers went up 2-1 in the first quarter on April 11. Vassar is the only team to not be nationally ranked at any point this season to hold a lead on the Tigers.

Grueling Stretch
Vassar will face its third nationally ranked team in the past eight days, as Union enters Saturday's contest as the No. 11 team in the country. The Brewers also faced a nationally ranked team in Montclair State back on March 4.

Faceoffs
Throughout this season, the Brewers have done a good job of getting possession early on, winning 51% of their faceoffs. However, Vassar will face tough competition from Union who has won 52% of their faceoffs.

Closing Out Gordon
The Vassar-Union game this weekend will be the final home game for the Brewers this season, as the squad will finish up its 2015 slate on the road.

Up Next
For the last game of the season, Vassar College men's lacrosse will head out to Clarkson University in Potsdam, NY. The Brewers will take on the Golden Knights (5-6, 2-2 Liberty) on Saturday, April 25 at 1:00 pm.
