Box Score 2 ROCHESTER, NY (April 12, 2015) – The Rochester Institute of Technology plated 26 runs over two games Sunday, as the Tigers handed the Vassar College baseball team a pair of Liberty League losses with scores of 11-2 and 15-1 in action from Tiger Stadium.

RIT responded with two runs in the second and a single score in the third to take a 3-1 lead going into the bottom of the third. VC pulled to within one in the bottom half of the frame, as freshman
Bobby Kinne (Great Barrington, MA/Monument Mountain Regional) drove in a run with a groundout.
In the last at-bat of the game for RIT, the Tigers sent 13 batters to the plate, scoring eight times on six hits to clinch the win. Vassar posted three hits on the game, as English, Johnson and
Matt Hernandez (Corona, CA/Eleanor Roosevelt) each singled. Vassar starter
Jonathan Hong (Orinda, CA/Miramonte) allowed just one earned run and four hits over six innings, fanning six Tiger hitters.

Eric Strickland (Round Rock, TX/Round Rock) also walked, singled and scored a run for the Brewers in the loss. Hernandez tossed 1.1 innings of scoreless relief, striking out a pair of Tiger hitters.
