Pemberton scored the game's first bucket on a nice layup, followed by a backdoor cut a few minutes later to put the Brewers up 7-4. Vassar College led for the majority of the first half, as William Smith (4-18, 3-11 Liberty) took its only lead at 15-13 after a triple from Chloe Hayter.
