What to Look For:
Vassar will try and make it four dual match victories in a row against TCNJ this Saturday, while TCNJ will open up its spring season against the Brewers.

Last Time Out:
Vassar opened its 2015 spring campaign with a 5-0 dual match victory over Clark University Saturday evening at the Paxton Sports Centre. The Brewers swept the doubles matches to start, then earned two singles victories to clinch the team win. VC moves to 3-1 on the year in duals with the victory.

A Look at the Lions:
TCNJ will play its first dual match of the 2014-15 year on Saturday, as the Lions only saw the court for two tournaments during the fall season. TCNJ opened the season on September 13 hosting NYU at the Lions' Invitational, where the team went 4-0 in doubles matches in flight A.

At the ITA Northeast Regional Championship September 20-22, junior Pierce Cooper advanced all the way to the championship singles match before falling to Matthew Heinrich of Stevens 6-2, 6-3 in the final. Heinrich bested Vassar sophomore (1-6, 6-2, 6-1) Nick Litsky (St. Petersburg, FL/Shorecrest Prep School) earlier in the semifinals at the event.

Cooper was tabbed as the 22nd ranked singles player in nation via the ITA Division III National Preseason Rankings released October 30. He was slotted seventh in the Northeast, while the Lions were ranked one spot behind Vassar (No. 16) in the poll at No. 17.

Last Meeting:
Vassar and TCNJ last met on the big stage in collegiate tennis, when the Brewers bested the Lions 5-1 in the second round of the NCAA Tournament on May 12, 2012. It was a historical win for the VC, earning its first-ever trip to the Round of 16 with the win. Then-junior and current assistant coach Nick Jasso clinched the match victory for Vassar with a 7-5, 6-2 win over Stewart Fernandez.

Coming up Next:
Vassar will play an important dual match against Liberty League opponent Skidmore on Saturday, February 21 in Saratoga Springs, NY.
