A Look at the Engineers: RPI has had an up-and-down year in 2015, carrying a 5-6-6 overall record and 1-2-3 mark in the Liberty League into Saturday's game. RPI is coming off a 2-1 loss to Hartwick College in its last game on October 21, and will be looking for its first win since defeating Bard on September 26. The Engineers are being outscored 15-24 on the year, and are 3-4-3 in road games.

Sophomore Dali Alarian leads the Engineers offensively this season, posting four goals and three assists for a team-best 11 points. Four other players have scored two goals for the squad thus far. Sophomore Tori Riopelle has started in the cage in all 17 games for the Engineers, holding a .753 save percentage and 1.23 goals against average.

Against RPI All-Time: Vassar and RPI have been evenly matched since the all-time series began in 1988, with the Brewers holding a 14-15-1 record vs. the Engineers. RPI secured a 3-0 victory over Vassar when the teams met last season on October 25.

Playoff Atmosphere: Saturday's game will be a critical one for RPI and Vassar, as a loss for either team will virtually eliminate them from Liberty League postseason contention.

Miles of Hope: The Vassar women's soccer team will wear pink this weekend during its game vs. the Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in support of the Miles of Hope Breast Cancer Foundation.

Liberty League Shaping Up: The Liberty League playoff picture has become clearer as the conference's teams finish up conference play over the next few weeks. No. 6 William Smith sits atop the conference at 6-0, followed by RIT (5-0-1). The Brewers are currently seventh (1-2-2). Check out the full league standings here.

Goals Trending Up: Vassar has scored 18 goals this season, tying its team total (18) from 2014. VC currently sports an average of 1.29 g/game through 14 contests.

Going for 50: Vassar's next win will give head coach Corey Holton her 50th career victory as a head coach of Division III soccer. She currently has 15 wins at VC, paired with 29 wins as the head coach of Concordia Texas and five wins at Worchester Polytechnic Institute.

At the Top: Senior Emma Nichols (Lexington, MA/Lexington) has now tied the school record for career shutouts after posting the 12th of her career against Skidmore. Her six shutouts this year is a season-high for Nichols, who will become the program's outright leader for all-time shutouts with one more this season.

Top of the Conference: Nichols currently ranks second in the Liberty League is both total saves (72) and saves per game (5.14).

Non-Conference Wrap Up: After defeating Wesleyan, Vassar finished non-conference play with a 6-3 record this season.

Remember September: Vassar finished 5-3 in the month of September this year. Over the past five seasons (including 2015) the Brewers are 25-16-2 in games played in September.

Starters x5: Five players have started in all 14 games for the Brewers this season, including Lucy Brainerd, Amanda McFarland junior Kelsey Hamm (Wilmington, NC/John T. Hoggard), senior Emma Nichols and sophomore Carolina Alvarez (Weston, FL/Cypress Bay).

Game-Winners: Senior Kamaria Coley (Washington, DC/Academy of the Holy Cross) became the sixth player to score a game-winning goal for Vassar when the Brewers beat No. 21 St. Lawrence on October 2. Rebecca Andrews (Los Altos, CA/Los Altos), Emily Krebs (Newport Beach, CA/Corona Del Mar), Amanda McFarland, Lucy Brainerd (2) and Audrey Pillsbury (Laguna Beach, CA/Laguna Beach) have also all scored game-winners for VC.

Overtime Warriors: Vassar has already played six overtime contests in 2015, three more than the team's total extra time games from last season. After finishing in with three ties in OT last season, Vassar is 2-2-2 in overtime contests in 2015.
