POUGHKEEPSIE, NY (September 18, 2014) – The Brewer field hockey team, coming off of a 4-3 overtime win over Western Connecticut State University on Wednesday, will look to continue the winning streak against opponent Ramapo College. The game will take place on Saturday at 1 p.m. on Weinberg Field, as the Brewers return home after a short three-game road swing over the last week.

What To Watch ForThe Brewers and the Roadrunners have faced off once already this year in a preseason scrimmage. Vassar (6-1) came out on top, so Ramapo (1-7) will look to turn the tables in the game on Saturday. The Brewers will look to extend its home winning streak to five on Saturday, which would be one of the longest home winning streaks in the nation.
A Look At the RoadrunnersRamapo College started off their season with a commanding 8-2 win over Wells College, but has struggled to maintain that offensive push in the last seven games. The Roadrunners are 1-7 this season, and are 0-3 on the road. Most recently, Ramapo faced DeSales University dropped a heartbreaking 1-0 decision to the Bulldogs, posting the second straight contest without tallying a goal.
Gianna Mouskourie leads the offensive push for the Roadrunners with 12 points this season from six goals. Christina Bacino has the most helpers on the team with two. Megan Minneci holds a 1.000% shot percentage as two goals off of her only two shots. Emily Wisneski and Emily Kramer have split time in the cage equally this season. Wisneski has allowed 5.20 goals per game while Kramer has allowed 6.31. Wisneski's save percentage is 0.731 and Kramer's is 0.600.
Against Ramapo All-TimeVassar is 2-1 against the Roadrunners, starting with a win back in 2008. Ramapo came back the next year with a victory in 2009. The two teams did not face again until last year where the Brewers came out on top.

Amreen Bhasin has the second-lowest goals against average in the Liberty League with six, giving her a 1.08 goals against average. She also ranks first in shutouts with four. Vassar ranks second in the league in points with 47, coming from 17 goals and 13 assists.
