This will be Vassar's fourth consecutive away match in a row, as the team has not been home since their first game of the season on August 29
th. The Brewers will need a complete team effort against NYU to finish their four game road trip with a W.
A Look at the Violets (2-2): The Violets are 2-2 on the year, dropping two matches against Kean University (5-1) and Stevens (3-1). NYU is coming into this match fresh off a 1-0 loss against Stevens last weekend, as the Ducks also bested Vassar by the same at the Engineering Cup. They have pulled out two wins this season against Richard Stockton (2-4) and SUNY Cortland (1- 2). Teressa Fazio, a freshman forward, was named University Athletic Association Player of the Week on September 8
th after finishing with a goal and two assists against SUNY-Cortland.
Against NYU All-Time: Vassar is 2-6-1 all-time against the Violets, with the teams first meeting in 2002. Vassar has come out on top in two out of the past three matches, with the Brewers last winning at NYU on September 16, 2011.

Chloe Wheeler (Thousand Oaks, CA/Westlake) is at the top of five statistical categories for the Brewers. She is leading the team in points (4), goals (2), shots (18), shots on goal (9), and game winning goals (1).
Helping Hands: Three Brewers,
Jordyn Matthews (Newton, MA/Newton North),
Lucy Brainerd (Littleton, CO/Heritage), and
Jessica Schwed (Bridgewater, NJ/Bridgewater-Raritan), have all tallied one assist this season. The trio has played a large role in setting up goal scoring opportunities, and will be crucial to future offensive production this year.
Immediate Impact: Freshman
Amanda McFarland (Redwood City, CA/Menlo) has stepped in and quickly found a role as a starting midfielder for the Brewers this season. This past Wednesday, McFarland had an opportunity to score and she took it, making the game-winning shot in a 2-1 victory against Wesleyan.
Working Hard: There are four Brewers that have been in the game for the entire 360 minutes of the four matches that they have played this season.

Kelsey Hamm (Wilmington, NC/John T. Hoggard), and
Lily Lanier (Brookline, MA/Brookline) have been key to keeping this team going no matter what the circumstance.
