Both his goal and assist totals are team-highs and he now has a career points standing of 132. Sophomore Colin Cederna (Milan, MI/Saline) follows in goals and points with 20 and 31, respectively.

A Look At The Dutchmen
Union recently fell to #1 Rochester Institute of Technology 8-7 in League play. The loss snapped a 10-game winning streak and was its first Liberty League loss of the season. Tom Stanton led the Dutchmen with three goals from five shots in the loss to the Tigers. Nolan Stauffer, Rob Santangelo, Paul Alberti and Adam Rosenthal all recorded goals in the game while Kyle Mason and Nick Wright were credited with Union's only assists. Stefan Basile had 16 saves in goal for the Dutchmen while Pat Johnston had 15 for the Tigers.

Santangelo leads Union with 27 points from 13 goals and a team-best 14 assists. He has scored three of Union's game-winning goals. Richard Gregory has the most goals with 15. Basile is 9-2 on the season with 137 saves and 71 goals allowed having faced 373 shots.

Against Union All-Time
The Brewers have never defeated the Dutchmen since 1999. In last year's meeting and in 2009, Vassar scored its most goals against Union but fell 8-21 and 8-12, respectively.

Senior Breakdown: Max Herman
Herman goes into Saturday's game with 132 career points. The statistic places him atop of the Vassar history books in that category. He also has the most goals (89), shots attempted (326) and shots on goal (203). Three more assists will tie him for first with Thomas Boardman '04 at 46. One more man-up goal will give him sole possession of second place with nine. Herman also goes into Saturday's road game with 72 ground balls and 13 caused turnovers.

Senior Breakdown: Andrew Nicol
Nicol has been one of the most instrumental players in Vassar's history. He has been a captain for the Brewers since his sophomore year where he started all 13 games in goal. He totals 144 ground balls in his four years as well as causing 29 turnovers for a Vassar historical sixth placing. Nicol has stopped a total of 608 shots from finding twine. The mark puts him at second behind Will Widen's '06 666 saves. Nicol has won the most games in Brewer history with 15.

2014 Is A Good Year
The 2014 Vassar College Brewers men's lacrosse team is one of the top teams in program history. They lead the record books in points (235), points per game (18.08), goals (136), goals per game (10.46), assists (99), assists per game (7.62), shots (492), shots per game (37.85), shots on goal (310), shots on goal per game (23.85), caused turnovers per game (10.38), game-winning goals (tied - 6) and wins (tied - 6). If the Brewers get seven caused turnovers between now and their final game of the season next weekend, they will then have the most in Vassar history as well.

Up Next
The Brewers will next host the final game of the regular season on Saturday, April 26 at 1:00 pm when they welcome to Gordon Field the Golden Knights of Clarkson University. The Liberty League matchup is also designated as Vassar's Senior Day where Herman and Nicol will be celebrated for their four years of commitment.
