What To Look For
The Bard College athletics department is sponsoring a "Black Out" Tuesday for both the women's and men's games with Vassar. The gym at Stevenson Athletic Center has a small seating area, but the proximity to the crowd can make it difficult for teams to play there. If the Brewers can get a quick lead and take the crowd out of play, it will make playing on the road that much easier. The matchup that should be interesting to keep an eye on will be the one involving two of the better post players in the league in Bard's Tytravia Riley and Vassar's Hannah Senftleber (Burlington, VT/Burlington).

A Look at the Raptors
Bard has struggled this season, especially inside the Liberty League, bringing a 1-15 overall and 0-7 conference record into Tuesday's affair. Though the Raptors have fallen in all but one game this year, they have been pretty competitive in most outings. Bard does well on the boards, as Riley leads the conference in rebounding with 13.2 caroms a night. As a squad, Bard is third in rebounding defense, holding teams to just 38.1 rebounds per game. Bard has not shot the ball well this year, making just 35.1 percent of its attempts, eighth-highest in the Liberty League. The Raptors are connecting on just 2.1 threes a game, which is the lowest total in the conference and 418th out of 431 teams in the nation.

Individually, Riley leads the League in both scoring and rebounding, posting over 18 points per game for BC. She is shooting 52.8 percent this year, and leads the squad in steals as well with 43. Sophomore guard Bianka Bell is posting 9.2 points per game, while Liz Freud averages 7.6 points a night. Joanna Regan plays a team-leading 38.9 minutes per game for Bard, having connected on a team-high 11 three-pointers this year, leading the squad with 69 assists.

Projected Starting Lineup: G – Bianka Bell (9.2 PPG), G – Abbey Labrecque (5.2 PPG), G – Joanna Regan (6.8 PPG), F – Tytravia Riley (18.1 PPG), F – Liz Freud (7.6 PPG).

Against Bard All-Time
The Brewers are 10-0 all-time against the Raptors, going 3-0 in Stevenson Athletic Center. Vassar earned a 79-61 win a few weeks back, as Cydni Matsuoka (Sacramento, CA/John F. Kennedy) led all scorers with 22 points. VC put four in double figures, while Riley had 19 points and 13 rebounds to pace Bard.

Light Up The Dark
Bard College is planning a Black Out Tuesday evening, where the first 50 fans for both the men and women's game get t-shirts. A contingent of fans for Vassar has planned a White Out; so for fans heading to Bard Tuesday, make sure to wear white.

Balanced Attack
Vassar has boasted six games where four players have averaged 10 or more points this season. All but two of the players on the roster that have played this year have not chalked up at least one double-figure outing.

Cydni Sniper
Vassar senior Cydni Matsuoka comes into the week with the third-highest shooting percentage on triples in the nation, making 49 percent from deep. She is 19th in the nation in threes made per game, connecting on 2.76.

Awesome Ally
Junior guard Allyson Pemberton (Weston, MA/Weston) has really stepped up this year, as she has scored 10 or more points on six occasions, including a career-high 17 against RPI.

We're Going Streaking
The Vassar College women's squad has put together three wins streaks of at least three games. VC started the year with six straight wins, won three in a row from Jan. 7 to Jan. 11, and is currently riding a five-game stretch of victories.

Hannah Montana
Senior Hannah Senftleber leads the Liberty League in free throw shooting, and is currently 11th in the nation in the same category.

On The Boards
This season, the Brewers have been fantastic on the boards, winning the rebound battle in all but four games. In those four games though that VC has lost the board battle it is 1-3. When winning the rebounding battle, Vassar is 13-0.

Making Shots
Vassar is among the league leaders in team shooting percentage, making 41.2 percent from the field this year. In games that the Brewers have shot over 40 percent from the floor, they are 10-0.

Up Next
Vassar will travel to Rochester, NY to take on Rochester Institute of Technology Friday at 6 p.m. The next afternoon, VC will look to avenge its only League loss battling William Smith College at 2 p.m. in Geneva, NY.
