POUGHKEEPSIE, NY (April 22, 2012) -- The Vassar College men's tennis team wrapped up the regular season with a 9-0 sweep of the ITA Northeast No. 18 University of Rochester 9-0 on Sunday at Walker Field House.

The Northeast No. 11 Brewers (12-9, 4-1 Liberty) next compete in the Liberty League Championships on April 28-30, hosted by Hobart College. The Yellowjackets (6-12) next play in the UAA Championships in Orlando, FL on April 27-29.

Vassar started with a sweep of doubles, led by an 8-2 win by Andrew Guzick and Ben Guzick, ranked No. 1 in the Northeast, over Rochester's Brian Rice and Joel Allen.

In singles, Andrew Guzick scored Vassar's fourth point with a 6-1, 6-0 win over Rice at the No. 1 position. Dan Freeman clinched the victory with a 6-4, 6-3 win over Julien Danko at No. 3 singles.
