SCHENECTADY, NY (April 21, 2012) – The No. 11 nationally-ranked Union College men's lacrosse team dealt Vassar a 14-0 loss on Saturday evening in Liberty League play.

The Brewers drop to 3-9, 0-5 in the Liberty League and host Clarkson next Saturday, April 28 at Gordon Field at 1:00 pm. Prior to the contest, the program will honor its graduating seniors. Union improves to 9-3, 4-1 in Liberty League play and travels to Skidmore for a 1:00 pm game next Saturday.

Five different players scored goals for Union. The Dutchmen led 8-0 at half and 12-0 after the third period.

Sophomore goalie Andrew Nicol made 12 saves against 50 Union shots. Nicol earned five ground balls as did freshman Scott Brekne.

The Brewers had 10 shots in the contest, and a trio of Union goalies made five saves in the game.
