POUGHKEEPSIE, NY (April 216, 2008) –- Down one run heading into the bottom of the ninth inning, Vassar loaded the bases twice but failed to bring any runners home as SUNY-New Paltz held on for a 7-6 victory at Prentiss Field on Wednesday.

The Brewers drop to 6-12 and travel to play Skidmore on Saturday. The Hawks improve to 15-14.

New Paltz plated the winning run in the top of the ninth inning, breaking a 6-6 tie.
