Julia Blass continues to help lead Vassar Rowing from the stroke seat. Blass has stroked both the Varsity and Novice boats all season, including a win in the novice eight at Albany and a 2nd place finish in the novice 8+ at the Spring Metro Championship.

This weekend Julia stroked the team to the petite finals where the young Vassar Varsity 8+ finished ahead of Geneseo. The Varsity 8+ also finished ranked ahead of NYU and SUNY Oswego for a final placing of 11th in the state in Vassar's return to the Varsity 8+ after a five year absence at the state championship.
