Freshman Eli Polston posted a perfect 11-0 on the day Sunday afternoon at the VC Fencing Challenge, as he rolled through action in the sabre event. Polston started the day with three wins over Detroit, before going 2-0 against Cleveland State in a 18-9 win for Vassar. The freshman continued his hot fencing in a 16-11 win over NJIT, as he again chalked up three wins. His most impressive showing came in the last match of the day, knocking off all three Yale competitors he faced to finish the day with 11 victories, the most of any Brewer Sunday. Polston now is second in wins among VC fencers on the season with 40.
