Sara was a key contributor to Vassar's seventh place finish at the UNYSCSA Championships. In the 400-yard IM, Sara claimed fourth in 4:42.12 for a new Vassar record. She swam a lifetime best split of 1:59.64 to open the 800-yard freestyle relay that posted a record time of 8:10.25 and finished eighth. Sara contributed to two top ten relay teams -- seventh in the 200-yard freestyle relay (1:41.50), ninth in the 400-yard medley (4:07.36). On the final day, Sara placed 12th in the 100-yard breaststroke with a lifetime best 1:09.98, 10th in the 200-yard breaststroke in 2:33.01, and contributed to a sixth place finish in the 400-yard relay in 3:41.81.
