Strand had anther great day at the Vassar Sprint Invitational, as Strand won three events and finished second in another. In the 50 breaststroke, Strand broke a meet record with a 27.81, earning the victory. Strand started the day with an exciting 200 medley relay win, helping Vassar out-touch Skidmore with a 1:41.16 to set another meet record. Strand finished second in the 50 fly after swimming a 24.46, and then won the 100 IM, just missing the meet record by .02 with a 55.79.
