Haley Schoenegge shattered her own 5,000 meters school record and posted the top time in Division III this season for the Vassar College Women's Track and Field team at the Sean Collier Invitational at MIT on Friday evening.
Schoenegge turned in a time of 16:15.60, finishing two seconds faster than her previous record time set last season at the same meet, to place second overall behind University of Maine's Ruby Krasnow.

Anika Mueller-Hickler finished sixth overall and set her own personal-best time by over 48 seconds with a time of 17:25.40. Sophomore
Chloe Bibula scored an eighth place finish with a new PR of 17:31.56, over a minute and 20 seconds faster than her previous best.
Vassar will return to action tomorrow at the Red Fox River Rumble at Marist University at 11:00 a.m.
