4x200 Relay Breaks School Record Mark at AARTFC Championships

Relay of D'Auria, M. Seguin, C. Seguin and Camille reset own school record time

New York, NY - The Vassar College Women's Track and Field team closed the two-day AARTFC Championships at the Armory on Saturday as the 4x200 relay broke its own school record time by almost two seconds.

Weight Throw

Sophomore Amanda Hanrahan scored a 14th place finish with a top toss of 15.47 meters.

Mile

Sophomore Chloe Bibula raced to a new career-best time of 5:13.34 to finish 23rd overall while first year Malaika Dechet-Wetzel posted a 25th place finish in 5:15.37.

800 Meters

Sophomore Elizabeth Lowe placed 13th out of 47 finishers in a season-best time of 2:17.43.

200 Meters

Sophomore Lainie D'Auria crossed the finish line in the top-35 in 26.27 followed by classmate Lianna Camille with a time of 26.59.

Triple Jump

First year Ruthie Weiss turned in a 16th place finish with a top leap of 10.86 meters.

3000 Meters

Senior Anika Mueller-Hickler earned a 13th place finish out off 33 total competitors with a time of 10:15.36.

4x200 Relay

The quartet of D'Auria, first year Maddie Seguin, first year Claire Seguin and Camille broke their own school record by almost two full seconds with a mark of 1:46.18 to finish 10th overall.
