Maddie Kaltsas (Minnetrista, MN) has been named the Liberty League Offensive Performer of the Week in Women's Lacrosse it was revealed by the league office Monday afternoon.
Kaltsas, who earns her first career weekly honor, finished off a 2-0 week for the Brewers with eight points on the strength of seven goals and an assist. Kaltsas was also a force in draw controls, winning 15 over the two-game stretch.
Kaltsas started the week matching her career-high with four goals on Thursday in a 17-9 road win at Wheaton. Kaltsas rounded out the win with a groundball and five draw controls for the Brewers. To finish the week, Kaltsas potted three goals and helped on a fourth in a 15-8 win at Roger Williams. In addition to the scoring output, Kaltsas won a game and career-high 10 draw controls in the victory.
Through five games in 2026, Kaltsas is tied for third on the team with 12 points, scoring 10 times and assisting on two other goals. Kaltsas is tied for the team lead with 28 draw controls and has collected a trio of groundballs.
Among the Liberty League leaders, Kaltsas is tied for third in the conference in draw controls per game (5.60).
At 5-0 overall on the season, Vassar begins Liberty League play on Friday when it plays host to RIT.
