Haley Schoenegge led from start to finish in the Mile to earn her second straight national title with the fourth-fastest time in Division III history followed by scoring her ninth All-American honor after a top-16 finish in the 3000 meters at the NCAA Division III Indoor Track and Field Championships. Jahmilia Dennis closes her indoor career with her third total and second indoor Second Team All-American honor in the triple jump at the Birmingham CrossPlex on Saturday.
Mile
- Schoenegge defended her indoor Mile national title with a new career-best time of 4:42.69, which marks her fourth career national championship.
- Schoenegge led the race from wire-to-wire and threw down a blazing 33.46 last 200 meters to pull away from the pack and record the fourth-fastest time in Division III history.
Triple Jump
- Dennis earns her third career Second Team All-American honor and her second indoor nod following a 15th place finish with a top leap of 11.29 meters.
3000 Meters
- Schoenegge closed her day with a 16th place finish to score Second Team All-American honors after crossing the finish line with a time of 9:53.08.
- Following the two events on Saturday, Schoenegge is now a nine-time USTFCCCA All-American.
