Birmingham, AL - Vassar College Women's Track and Field junior
Haley Schoenegge qualified for a spot in tomorrow's Mile final at the NCAA Indoor Track and Field Championships at the Birmingham CrossPlex on Friday afternoon.
Schoenegge, the Mile defending national champion, cruised to a second place overall finish out of 20 finishers in this afternoon's prelims with a time of 4:49.94 in the second heat in Birmingham. The junior will race in tomorrow afternoon's Mile final at 5:00 p.m. along with the 3000 meters final at 6:35 p.m.
