Double Digit Brewers Earn Career-Bests at West Point Tune-Up

Hanrahan breaks own school record mark in the weight throw

West Point, NY - The Vassar College Women's Track and Field team saw double-digit Brewers recorded new personal-bests along with sophomore Amanda Hanrahan breaking her own weight throw school record mark at the West Point Tune-Up on Saturday.

60 Meter Hurdles

Senior Jahmilia Dennis finished second in the prelims with a time of 9.20 and then followed it up with a third place mark in the finals in 9.15.
Sophomore Elana Pukel posted a ninth place finish with a time of 10.30.

60 Meters

Sophomore Lainie D'Auria qualified for the finals with a fifth place finish in 7.91 and followed it up with a fifth place finals mark in 7.92.
Sophomore Lianna Camille posted a 10th place finish in a career-best time of 8.09.
First year Chloe Mundheim set a new season-best time of 8.48 to finish 16th while sophomore Mason Wilkins-Lanier was 18th overall in 8.58.
First year Claire Seguin finished in the top-20 with a time of 8.59.

Mile

Sophomore Sarah France scored a runner-up finish in 5:31.71 followed by senior Nora Goldberg-Courtney in fourth place with a career-best time of 5:43.17.
First year Emerson Wyatt tallied a fifth place finish in 5:44.50 along wtih first year Taylor Vogt in seventh place with a time of 5:53.62.

400 Meters

First year Perri Koo raced to a fifth place finish with a time of 1:04.51.

1000 Meters

Koo also earned a sixth place mark with a time of 3:25.59.

200 Meters

Wilkins-Lanier tallied a 11th place finish with a time of 28.16 while C. Seguin posted a time of 28.33 to finish 13th overall.
Mundheim crossed the finish line in a new PR of 28.77 to finish in the top-20.

3000 Meters

Senior Lily Shimpach secured an eighth place finish with a time of 11:50.31.

Shot Put (Open)

Senior Kolby Davis scored a sixth place finish with a top toss of 10.23 meters while Pukel set a new career-best mark of 9.21 meters to finish 10th.
Hanrahan posted a 11th place finish at 8.99 meters and tied with classmate Meara Morgan.
First year Anna Johnson earned a 13th place finish with a season-best toss of 8.95 meters along with senior Sydney Petrie registering a 15th place finish at 8.61 meters.

Weight Throw

Hanrahan broke her own school mark with a top toss of 15.80 meters to earn a fourth place finish.
Morgan tallied a 11th place finish at 11.85 meters along with Davis securing a 13th place finish with a distance of 11.45 meters.
Johnson registered a 15th place finish with a career-best toss of 10.87 meters and Delaney added a top toss of 7.57 meters.

Long Jump

D'Auria advanced to the finals and placed seventh overall with a top leap of 4.79 meters.

Triple Jump

Dennis was victorious in the triple jump with a top leap of 11.18 meters.
Camille set a new career-best mark of 10.66 meters to place third overall while Weiss earned a fourth place finish at 10.50 meters.

High Jump

First year Ruthie Weiss was fifth overall with a height of 1.51 meters while first year Maddie Delaney scoring an eighth place finish at a career-best mark of 1.38 meters.
Pukel earned a ninth place finish with a height of 1.33 meters.
