Kansas City, Mo.  – Dr. Jonathan Hood's Vassar College Men's Soccer team has been recognized for its work in the classroom for the 2024-25 academic year with a United Soccer Coaches Team Academic Award.
 
The Brewers are one of 296 Men's Soccer programs recognized with the team award, given to squads who produce a 3.0 or better. Vassar showed a team grade point average of 3.75 for the 2024-25 academic year.
 
Vassar concluded the 2024 season with a 13-4-3 overall record. The Brewers won their third Liberty League title and with a 3-0 win over Rowan in the First Round of the NCAA Tournament, advanced to the Second Round for the fourth time.
 
The Brewers open the 2025 campaign on April 29 on the road at Western Connecticut.
