Dennis Breaks Own Triple Jump School Record Mark, Wins AARTFC Regional Title

Junior posts the 17th best leap in Division III heading into today's competition

Williamstown, MA - Junior Jahmilia Dennis cracked the top-22 in Division III this season with a new school record and personal-best mark of 12.01 meters to score the regional triple jump crown at the AARTFC Outdoor Championships at Williams College on Thursday.

1500 Meters
  • Sophomore Adelaide Nyhan earned a third place podium finish with a new personal-best time of 4:35.21.
800 Meters
  • First year Lizzie Lowe tallied a 14th place finish with a time of 2:19.20.
Triple Jump
  • Dennis broke her own school record with a new career-best leap of 12.01 meters, which ranks 17th in Division III heading into today's competition, to take home the regional title.
Hammer Throw
  • First year Amanda Hanrahan scored a 16th overall finish with a top throw of 44.92 meters.
