Schoenegge Sets New Division III Top Time, Nyhan Sets New Personal Record at Sean Collier Invitational

Schoenegge crushes her own personal best by 15 seconds in the 5000 meters

Cambridge, MA - Sophomore Haley Schoenegge recorded the new top time in Division III this season in the 5000 meters at the Sean Collier Invitational while sophomore Adelaide Nyhan posted her new personal record in the same race at MIT for the Vassar Women's Track and Field team.

5000 Meters

Schoenegge crushed her own personal-best by over 15 seconds with the new fastest time in the 5000 meters with a time of 16:17.29. The sophomore defeated the new closest finisher, who was a Division I runner, by nine seconds for the first place finish.
Nyhan also recorded her own best time by around eight seconds with a ninth place finish in 17:18.32 in the 5000 meters.
