Women's Track and Field Scores Three Top-Five Finishes in a Loaded Field at the Bison Outdoor Classic

Five different Brewers recorded personal-bests in three different races

Lewisburg, PA - The Vassar College Women's Track and Field team saw several impressive races at the Bison Outdoor Classic on Saturday as five different Brewers scored personal-bests and three Vassar runners placed in the top-five in their respective races.

1500 Meters (Unseeded)

Sophomore Adelaide Nyhan was victorious for Vassar with a first place finish out of 85 total competitors with a career-best time of 4:37.07.
Sophomore Norah Reade was fourth overall and the second Division III finisher with a personal-best mark of 4:41.70.
First year Sarah France raced to a top-55 finish with a personal-best time of 4:52.60 followed by classmate Lizzie Lowe crossing the finish line in 5:04.59.

3000 Meters Steeplechase

Sophomore Acadia Helfand scored a 31st place finish, crushing the personal-best with a new time of 11:25.39.

5000 Meters (Unseeded)

Senior Noni Pattington earned a 10th place finish and was the top DIII finisher with a time of 18:06.00.
Sophomore Cayley Swaim registered an 18th place finish with a career-best time of 18:23.77.
