Women's Track and Field Begins Two-Day RPI Under the Lights Invite

Marchioli, Bibula set new personal-best times in the 5000; Morgan sets PR in the discus

Troy, NY - The Vassar College Women's Track and Field team saw two distance runners set new personal-bests at the first of two days of the RPI Under the Lights Invite on Thursday evening.

5000 Meters

First year Sophia Marchioli posted a fifth place finish with a personal-best time of 18:37.61.
First year Chloe Bibula earned an 11th place finish in a personal-best mark of 18:58.63.
Senior Sophie Farr crossed the finish line in 14th in 20:37.90.

Discus Throw

Senior Soleil Yuong finished 11th overall with a mark of 27.92 meters while first year Meara Morgan placed 12th at a personal-best 27.24 meters.
Junior Abbe Colgan was 17th overall with a toss of 23.40 meters along with junior Ava Gurley recording a mark of 20.34 meters.
