Ithaca, NY - The Vassar College Men's and Women's Track and Field teams returned to action for the AARTFC Indoor Championships at Ithaca on Friday with senior Faye Stevens setting a career-best and new school record mark in the pentathlon.

Pentathlon

• Stevens set a new personal-best and school record mark of 3155 points for a fifth place overall finish.
• Stevens tallied a third place finish with a new personal-best leap of 5.44 meters in the long jump and a fifth place finish in the 800 meters with a time of 2:33.50.
• The senior also recorded a new personal-best toss of 8.41 meters in the shot put followed by a time of 9.50 in the 60-meter hurdles and 1.47 meters in the high jump.

60 Meter Hurdles

• In the women's race, junior Jahmilia Dennis earned a 13th place finish with a time of 9.18.
• In the men's race, senior Jae Young Seo raced to a top-35 finish with a time of 8.98.

• Vassar will send runners to the Tufts National Qualifier in Medford tomorrow along with competing in the second day of the regional championships at Ithaca.
