Dennis Wins Third Straight Indoor Triple Jump Title; Vassar Finishes Fourth at Liberty League Indoor Championships

Dennis has now won five total Liberty League triple jump titles

Ithaca, NY - Junior Jahmilia Dennis earned her third straight Liberty League indoor triple jump championship along with sophomore Haley Schonegge earning a second place finish in the 3000 meters as the Vassar College Women's Track and Field team finished fourth overall at the Liberty League Indoor Championships at Ithaca College.

60 Meter Hurdles - Finals
  • Dennis raced to a fourth place finish to reach the podium with a new personal-best and indoor school record time of 8.99.
60 Meters - Finals
  • First year Lainie D'Auria earned an eighth place finish on the podium with a time of 8.14.
800 Meters
  • Sophomore Adelaide Nyhan scored a fourth place finish with a personal-best time of 2:19.92 followed by senior Sophia Henderson in fifth in 2:20.15.
  • Sophomore Norah Reade tallied a ninth place finish in a time of 2:21.43 along with first year Sarah France recording a personal-best time of 2:25.78 and classmate Lizzie Lowe crossing the finish line in 2:26.66.
200 Meters 3000 Meters
  • Schoenegge secured a second place finish in 9:44.84 followed by Nyhan in third place with a personal best time of 10:20.08.
  • Sophomore Acadia Helfand collected a 13th place finish with a time of 10:48.22 along with sophomore Cayley Swaim in 19th in 10:56.88 and first year Chloe Bibula in 20th in 10:57.97.
4x400 Relay
  • First year Skylar Spiro, Lowe, Henderson and Stevens scored a sixth place finish with a time of 4:12.29.
High Jump
  • Stevens registered a seventh place finish at a career-best 1.49 meters while sophomore Jillian Benfante also competed.
Triple Jump
  • Dennis scored her third straight indoor title and fifth overall triple jump title with a leap of 11.52 meters.
  • Junior Jamie Eu also made the podium with a fifth place finish at a career-best 10.64 meters.
Weight Throw
  • First year Amanda Hanrahan finished in the top-20 with a toss of 11.87 meters.
  • Junior Kolby Davis recorded a top throw of 10.55 meters along with first year Meara Morgan earned a mark of 9.92 meters.
