Vassar Drops Season Finale To William Smith

Choudhri wins at four

Philadelphia, PA – The Vassar College Women's Squash team closed the 2024-25 season Saturday afternoon with an 8-1 loss to William Smith at the CSA Divisional Championship. Senior Sophia Choudhri (Waycross, GA) scored the Brewers' lone win at four against the Herons.

With Saturday's loss, Vassar finishes the season with a 4-15 overall record.

Choudhri scored a four-frame victory against the Herons, winning by scores of 5-11, 14-12, 11-5 and 11-9.
Adriana Ordaya (Hartford, CT) went the distance at two on Saturday, battling for the Brewers in an 11-7, 13-11, 8-11, 5-11, 4-11 loss.
Perla Leal Castellanos (Elmhurst, NY) competed hard in a four set loss, dropping a 8-11, 4-11, 11-9, 3-11 decision.
