Vassar scores first win this season over Bard

Canton, NY – The Vassar College Women's Squash team finished off play in the 2026 Liberty League Championship with an impressive 7-2 victory over Bard Sunday morning. The Brewers won at the top five positions with sweeps.

Sunday's victory stops a 14-match slide for the Brewers and gives them their first win over Bard this season in three meetings. Vassar improves to 5-16 overall on the year.

Charlotte Tobin (Lakeview, CT) earned a 3-0 win at the top of the ladder on Sunday with a convincing 11-0, 11-4, 11-1 victory.
At two, First Year Hope Fireison (Alexandria, VA) dispatched her opponent by scores of 11-3, 11-0, 11-2.
Adriana Ordaya (Hartford, CT) finished the championship 2-1 for Vassar after scoring a 12-10, 11-4, 11-1 triumph at three.
Senior Sarah Boucher-Rowe (London, UK) was victorious at the fourth slot on Sunday after posting a hard fought 11-8, 11-5, 11-2 win.
Lexi Donshik (West Simsbury, CT) posted an impressive 3-0 win at five for the Brewers, cruising to a 11-2, 11-5, 11-1 victory.
Iesha DeSilva (Dayton, MD) got back into the win column for the Brewers with a tough 11-7, 11-8, 11-8 win at the seventh slot.
Lan Legros went the distance at eight, outlasting the opponent from Bard by scores of 8-11, 11-9, 11-3, 6-11, 11-6.
