West Point, NY - Sophomore Amanda Hanrahan reset two of her own school record marks in the shot put and the weight throw while first year Ruthie Weiss posted a new school record mark in the high jump in the first meet of the season for the Vassar College Women's Track and Field team at the West Point Crowell Open on Saturday.

Shot Put

• Hanrahan broke her own indoor school record mark with a toss of 10.38 meters to finish 14th overall.
• Senior Kolby Davis finished 15th overall with a mark of 9.77 meters along with first year Anna Johnson posting a top throw of 7.11 meters.

Long Jump

• Senior Jamie Eu tallied a seventh place finish with a top mark of 4.81 meters along with sophomore Mason Wilkins-Lanier scoring a top-10 finish at 4.07 meters.

60 Meter Hurdles

• Senior Jahmilia Dennis took the top spot in the prelims with a time of 9.06 and finished second overall in the finals in 9.38.
• Senior Catherine Peacock qualified for the finals with a time of 9.94 and earned a sixth place finish in the finals in 10.00.
• Sophomore Elana Pukel recorded a seventh place finish with a mark of 10.11.
• Junior Abigail Sasson finished 10th overall with a time of 10.07.

60 Meters

• Sophomore Lainie D'Auria registered a 6th place finish in a new personal-best time of 8.04 to qualify for the finals and then finished seventh in the finals with a time of 8.06.
• First year Maddie Seguin posted a 12th place finish in 8.34 followed by Wilkins-Lanier in 13rd position in a new career-best time of 8.44.

Pole Vault

• First year Sole Miller made her Vassar debut in the pole vault.

Mile

• First year Malaika Dechet-Wetzel took home a first place finish with a time of 5:23.51 followed by sophomore Elizabeth Lowe in second in 5:24.41.
• First year Emerson Wyatt scored a seventh place finish with a mark of 5:58.59.

High Jump

• Weiss broke the indoor school record in the first years Vassar debut with a height of 1.52 meters to finish fourth overall.
• Sasson posted a mark of 1.47 meters to record a seventh place finish.

Weight Throw

• Hanrahan broke another one of her own school records as she finished ninth overall with a new record mark of 15.24 meters.
• Senior Kolby Davis registered a top mark of 12.33 meters along with sophomore Meara Morgan posting a new personal-best toss of 10.93 meters.
• First year Maddie Delaney recorded a top throw of 8.05 meters.

Triple Jump

• Senior Jahmilia Dennis finished second overall with a top leap of 11.60 meters while Eu earned a sixth place finish at 10.00 meters.

400 Meters

• Sophomore Lianna Camille scored a first place finish with a time of 1:02.53 while senior Maddie Busman garnered a fourth place finish in 1:06.61.

800 Meters

• Lowe earned the top spot with a time of 2:25.47 while first year Perri Koo finished in second place with a time of 2:27.07.
• Dechet-Wetzel posted a third place finish with a mark of 2:27.81.

200 Meters

• D'Auria scored a third place finish with a time of 27.46 followed closely by first year Claire Seguin in fourth in 27.79.
• M. Seguin finished in fifth position in 27.97 while Wilkins-Lanier was sixth overall in 29.00.
• Busam closed the Vassar finishers in seventh place with a time of 29.84.

3000 Meters

• Sophomore Sarah France set a new collegiate-best mark in 10:47.59 to finish fourth overall.
• First year Taylor Vogt earned a seventh place finish with a time of 11:25.15.

4x400 Relay

• The relay of Camille, Koo. C. Seguin and M. Seguin finished third overall with a time of 4:21.92.
