Greenwood, IN – The Vassar College Men's Soccer team had six student-athletes named College Sports Communicators Academic All-District it was announced Tuesday afternoon.
Jackson Allen (Chapel Hill, NC),
Jared Fiske (Livingston, NJ),
Mauricio Mejia (Miami, FL),
Diego Pastor-Valverde (Durham, NC),
Arden Tobolski (Chapel Hill, NC) and
Otis Wildman (Tampa, FL) were all recognized for being standouts both on the field and in the classroom.
Allen, a Political Science major, earns Academic All-District honors for the first time and was named Second Team All-Liberty League as a junior. Allen appeared in 16 games, making 14 starts, on the backline in 2024 and played just shy of 1,300 minutes for the Brewers. Allen scored his first career goal in a 4-1 victory over St. Lawrence in the First Round of the Liberty League Championship.
Fiske, a senior captain and Biology major, was named First Team All-Liberty League and the Liberty League Player of the Year in 2025. Fiske, just one of four players to start all 20 games, led the team with 13 goals as a junior, including three game winners, and totaled 33 points after adding seven assists. Fiske led the conference in total goals and ranked second in the league in total points. Fiske scored multiple goals in a game twice and posted a season-high five points against Bard on October 1.
Mejia, a junior Economics major, was named Third Team All-Liberty League in 2025 after appearing in 20 games and making 19 starts. Mejia closed the year third on the team with 10 points after scoring three times and assisting on four other goals. Mejia scored both goals for Vassar in a 2-0 Liberty League Championship Semifinal victory at second seed Skidmore on November 7.
Pastor-Valverde, a senior captain and Biology major, was one of just four Brewers to start all 20 games in 2025. A mainstay in the midfield as a senior, Pastor-Valverde was third on the team with five assists and totaled nine points after adding a pair of goals. Pastor-Valverde logged 1,601 minutes for Vassar as a senior.
Tobolski, a sophomore Economics major, had a second straight standout season for Vassar on his way to a First Team All-Liberty League selection. Tobokski, one of four players to start all 20 games, set the single season program record for assists with 16 and led the team with 38 points after potting 11 goals of his own, including four game winners. Tobolski posted three games with three assists, including in a 4-1 win over St. Lawrence in the First Round of the Liberty League Championship. Tobolski closed the year in total assists and points, was tied for first in game winning goal and trailed only Fiske in total goals.
Wildman, a senior Biology major, helped anchor the backline for Vassar in 2025. Wildman, who started all 20 games as a senior, led all players with 1,748 minutes as a senior and chipped in three points on the offensive end on a goal and an assist. Wildman was named All-Conference for the first time with a 2025 First Team nod.
Vassar closed the 2025 season with an 11-6-3 overall record and appeared in the Liberty League Championship Final for the second straight season.
