Brewers Conclude Liberty League Championship With Victory Over Bard

Vassar victorious at top five positions

Canton, NY – The Vassar College Women's Squash team rounded out play at the 2024 Liberty League Championship with a 5-3 victory over Bard Sunday afternoon. The Brewers scored wins at the top five positions, dropping just one set along the way.

Sunday's victory improves Vassar's overall record to 8-11 overall on the season.

Senior Anna Lee (Malverne, PA) won for the second time at the championship at one for Vassar, sweeping Bard's Jacinta Creel by scores of 11-3, 11-2, 11-3.
Playing at two, fellow senior Sehar Dey-Kohli (Chicago, IL) also won for the second time in the championship with a hard fought 11-6, 13-11, 11-4 triumph.
Sarah Boucher-Rowe (London, UK) earned a 3-0 victory for Vassar at three, dispatching the opponent from Bard by scores of 11-4, 11-2, 11-3.
Junior Sophia Choudhri (Waycross, GA) cruised to a 3-0 victory at four on Sunday, posting an impressive 11-5, 11-1, 11-1 victory.
Senior Kelsey O'Connell (Chapel Hill, NC) battled to a 3-1 victory for Vassar at five, taking an 11-3, 11-6, 10-12, 11-4 decision.
