Women's Squash Falls in Final Match at Liberty League Championships

Brewers go 1-3 in the Liberty League Championships

CANTON, N.Y. - The Vassar College Women's Squash team finished the Liberty League Championships with a 1-3 record as the Brewers fell 5-0 to the host St. Lawrence on Sunday morning.

At the top of the ladder, Ulrikke Bore Ribesen defeated junior Sehar Dey-Kohli 11-1, 11-6, 11-3 while Laura Franz took a 11-6, 11-4, 11-5 victory over freshman Adriana Ordaya at two. At three, Ksenia Merkulova won a 11-4, 11-7, 11-4 decision over rookie Mariya Novosad followed by a Xitlali Zuniga victory at four 11-3, 11-3, 11-1 over sophomore Sophia Choudhri. Five finished up the day with Tita Hicks winning 11-6, 11-2, 11-2 over senior Charlotte Banigan-White.

Vassar will return to action for its final home matches of the season on Saturday afternoon.
