POUGHKEEPSIE, N.Y. - It was Senior Day for the Vassar College Women's Squash team as the Brewers fell in the opening match 5-4 against Wellesley, lost 8-0 to Mount Holyoke and then responded with a 5-4 victory over Smith in the final match of the day.

Against the Blue, Miraya Gupta earned a hard-fought victory at the top of the ladder over junior Sehar Dey-Kohli 9-11, 12-10, 3-11, 12-10, 11-9. Two saw rookie Adriana Ordaya recorded a 11-8, 11-8, 11-6 win over Sophia Puertas along with Mariya Novosad winning 11-3, 7-11, 11-3, 11-0 at three over Lily Wancewicz. At four, sophomore Sophia Choudhri took a 11-5, 5-11, 11-4, 11-8 against Zhirou Lian followed by freshman Chloe Vaiman winning 15-13, 11-1, 11-5 over Anjali Aralikar at five. Six finished up the day with Sofia Rubio defeating senior Charlotte Banigan-White 12-10, 11-2, 9-11, 11-7. Wellesley earned victories by default at seven, eight and nine.

In the match against the Lyons, Habiba Abouelatta earned a 11-2, 11-3, 11-4 victory over Dey-Kohli at one while Xaria Durocher won at two 12-10, 11-3, 12-10 against Ordaya. Three saw Ku Paw win against Novasad 4-11, 11-7, 11-5, 11-9 while four saw Tina Mei defeated Choudhri 7-11, 11-4, 11-4, 11-4. At five, Dnyaneshwari Haware 11-3, 11-1, 11-1 triumphed over Vaiman followed by Janiqua Davis triumphing over Banigan-White 11-8, 11-4, 11-4. Seven and eight saw default wins for Mount Holyoke. 

Against the Pioneers, Dey-Kohli won at the top of the ladder over Adelaide Esseln 11-2, 11-6, 11-3. At two, Ordaya secured a 11-6, 11-2, 11-3 against Kaia Cormier while at three, Novosad won 11-6, 11-7, 11-4 over Zoe Kruse. Four saw Choudhri triumph over Allyson Tutay 11-9, 11-1, 11-7 while five saw Chloe Vaiman win 11-3, 11-7, 11-8 over Ciana Socias followed by Nora Zhou earning a hard-fought 11-4, 11-9, 9-11, 8-11, 11-9 victory over Banigan-White. Seven, eight and nine were default victories for Smith
