Women’s Squash Opens Season Against St. Lawrence

Brewers take on Boston Univ., Bard on Saturday

Poughkeepsie, NY – The Vassar College Women's Squash team was in action for the first time in 2023-24 on Friday, falling at home to visiting St. Lawrence by a score of 8-0. Friday's match was the first of four straight for the Brewers at home to being the year.

Friday's loss opens the season for Vassar at 0-1 on the year.

At one for the Brewers, captain Emma Adams (Berwyn, PA) suffered a 3-11, 3-11, 2-11 loss to Abhisheka David.
Fellow captain Olivia Berkson (Providence, RI) battled hard in a 3-11, 2-11, 6-11 loss to St. Lawrence's Anannya Morey.
Adriana Ordaya (Hartford, CT) was in action at four for Vassar in a 1-11, 3-11, 7-11 defeat to the Saints' Petra DeRose.
Sarah Boucher-Rowe (London, UK) competed in a 2-11, 5-11, 3-11 loss to Madeleine Martin at five.

Vassar continues a busy weekend on Saturday when it takes on Boston University (12:00 p.m.) and Bard (3:00 p.m.)
