POUGHKEEPSIE, NY – It was a busy day of action at Kenyon Courts on Saturday as the Vassar men's squash teams hosted Connecticut College and Haverford College. The Brewers men shouldered 8-1 losses to both the Camels and the Fords.
In the opener against Connecticut College, the men saw Ryan Mach open with an 3-0 (11-9, 11-8, 11-8) win over Vassar rookie

Reese Collins then shouldered a tough 3-1 (11-5, 11-13, 11-9, 11-5) loss to Juan Hurtado from nine. At three, senior
Henry Mitchell fell to MD Jawad by a tough 3-1 (10-12, 11-3, 11-3, 14-12) margin.
From six, senior
Alex Wisneski suffered a 3-0 (11-5, 12-10, 11-5) loss to Alex Lorenzo-Cruz, while from eight, rookie
Azaan Malik fell by a 3-0 (11-8, 11-5, 11-5) margin. From two, junior
Sameer Mustafa shouldered a 3-1 (11-8, 7-11, 11-7, 11-6) loss to Billy Fleurima, while at seven, rookie
Jarid Haslinger lost 3-0 (11-5, 11-2, 11-7) to Luigi Pasquariello.
At five, senior
Max Swan fell 3-0 (11-6, 11-6, 11-7) to Christopher Mach, but the Brewers got a point on the board at one as sophomore
Rithik Jalali was victorious. Taking on Tyler Maguire, he posted a 3-1 (11-9, 10-12, 11-2, 13-11) score for the win.
In the final match of the day against the Fords, it was Mustafa who got the lone point for the Brewers, powering his way to a 3-0 (13-11, 11-7, 12-10) victory against Peter Lehv at two. From four, Looby fell 3-0 (11-4, 11-2, 11-9) to Ben Schlitz, while at nine, Collins fell to Aaron Witkin, 3-0 (11-9, 11-3, 11-4).
From three, Mitchell fell by a 3-0 (11-9, 11-4, 11-8) margin to Noah Tunis, while at eight, Malik fell to Garret Fantini, 3-0 (11-5, 11-2, 11-2). At five, Swan fell to Keil Reedich, 3-0 (11-9, 11-8, 11-7), while at seven, Haslinger lost to Alden Weinberg, 3-0 (11-8, 11-4, 11-7).
Wisneski shoulderd a 3-0 (11-9, 11-7, 11-1) loss to John Collins from six, while at one, Jalali fell to Quinton Crawford, 3-0 (11-5, 11-7, 11-5).
The Brewers are now idle until January 29 when they travel to Haverford for matches against Georgetown and the homestanding Fords.
