SARATOGA, NY – It was a long and busy day on the water for the Vassar men's and women's rowing teams as the Brewers saw a number of boats compete at the Head of the Fish Regatta, hosted on Saratoga Lake. Vassar had nine boats in action as the squads closed out the fall schedule.
Opening the action was the Men's Collegiate Four+, which saw Vassar's B boat with coxswain
Darling Garcia, 1. Nick Winkler, 2. Alex Roth, 3. Jakob Huddleston and 4. Lucas Angles finish 27th in a time of 12:56.30.

Next to race was the Women's Collegiate 8 as the crew took 22nd overall with a time of 12:46.45. Comprising that boat was coxswain

Following a racing break, the Brewers hit the water once more, this time in the Men's Collegiate 8 as the crew of coxswain
Foster Schrader, 1. Alex Roth, 2. Nick Winkler, 3. Rafi Ettinger-Finley, 4. Matthew Peeples, 5. Colin Kirk, 6. Joshua Hernandez, 7. Lucas Angles and 8. Brandon Lam, took 18th overall in a time of 12:44.91.
The Women's Novice 8 was up next and the Brewers finished strong, crossing the line eighth of 19 competing crews with a time of 13:13.42. Comprising the boat was coxswain

Vassar's final event of the day was the Men's Collegiate Novice Four as coxswain
Celeste Weidemann, 1. Michael Yang, 2. Owen Scollard, 3. Gage Karlin and 4. Jakob Huddleston powered their way to 12th overall with a finish time of 14:41.32.
