Women's Rowing Posts Solid Effort at Head of the Charles Regatta

Brewers cross the finish in 39th at historic regatta

CAMBRIDGE, MA – The Vassar College women's rowing team was in action on Sunday afternoon, competing at the historic Head of the Charles Regatta in Cambridge. It marked the Brewers first return to one of the largest and most prestigious races since the 2014 season.
 
Competing in the women's collegiate eight+ race, the Brewers took 39th overall in a talent-laden field of crews. Vassar crossed the finish in a time of 20:21.663. Winning this year's event was Mercyhurst University, which posted a time of 17:16.794.

Vassar's women and men's teams return to the water next Saturday for their final races of the fall semester. The Brewers squads will compete at the Head of the Fish Regatta, hosted by Skidmore College.
