NEW HAVEN, CT - Despite a number of hard-fought efforts, the top-seeded Vassar College women's squash team was unable to solve second-seeded Northeastern University, falling by a 6-3 margin in the championship match of the Chaffee Cup E Division at the CSA Team National Championships.

Nicole Pihlstrom, who closed out CSA action with a perfect 3-0 record after winning on Sunday by a 3-1 (11-7, 7-11, 11-7, 11-5) margin over Maggie Markgraf.

Odie Berkson concluded her rookie season at eight, completing a perfect 3-0 Nationals effort with a hard-fought 3-1 (11-8, 4-11, 11-5, 11-9) win against Leah Swope. Finally at nine, sophomore
Lucie Bisbee suffered a tough 3-0 (8-11, 8-11, 8-11) loss to Jennifer Jin.
