STAMFORD, Conn. – Following a 9-0 sweep over Siena last Saturday, the Vassar men's squash team swept the Saints again in the CSA Round of 16 on Friday evening. Vassar picked up 3-0 sweeps in eight of the nine positions.
Junior
Viraj Nadkarni (Mumbai, India) defeated Tucker Tavarone 11-4, 11-4 and 11-3 for his third consecutive win at the first spot. Senior
Caden Gruber (Costa Mesa, CA) picked up the easy 3-0 victory against Will Weimer with 11-4, 11-2 and 11-6. No. 3 Alex Wisneski (Mechanisburg, PA) had a closer matchup, but still won 3-0 over Siena's Tyler Tsang.

Milind Joshi (Pune, India) rolled 11-3, 11-4 and 11-3.
Henry Mitchell (Yardley, PA) went extra points in two of the four sets with John Keenan. Mitchell took the first 11-3 and then won 16-14 in the second. Keenan had the 13-11 advantage in the third, but Mitchell dominated in the final with an 11-0 win. No. 6

Travers Parsons-Grayson (Newport, VT), No. 8
Reese Collins (Bedford, NH) and No. 9 Liam Condon Auburndale, MA) all swept their opponents 3-0 to close out the day.
Vassar faces Ohio State tomorrow at 12:30 p.m. in the quarterfinals. Matches will be played at the Chelsea Piers Connecticut squash courts in Stamford, CT.
